Government PowerThere should be a strong national government that is moderated by states rights. The federal government should address issues such as national security and interstate commerce, while the remaining powers are reserved to the states. We believe in a strong national government to unify the country, but we must have strong state governments as well to decide whats best for the people. There is no reason for the national government to decide whats best for each state when every state has a different culture, political views, and even geography. The current federal government has enough power and slowly gaining more. We think its time we stop giving more power to the federal government and let the states rule.
