Government Budget and TaxesTaxes should only be used for public services that are essential to the health, safety and security to the members of society. Taxes today are way to high and it seems we aren't seeing the results. The budget should go more towards improving education such as schools and domestic problems instead of towards the war in Iraq. The Government needs to stop spending as much money and needs to begin to climb out of debt. A good use of tax payer money would be putting it towards schools, hospitals, fire departments, police departments, and roads, as opposed to welfare programs and maintaing public parks. In tough economic times, the government should stay away from funding things that are not essential to the public.
