Foreign Policy The United states should not be involved with foreign military action unless there is a direct and immediate threat to our national security or if we have been attacked. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are important and were initially justified, but we have overstayed our visit, and spent too much money. Our country is currently in huge debt, and moving more troops into Afghanistan is not going to help our country improve economically. To prevent more terror, we need to improve our security here at home. Preventing terror through violence in other countries has only worsened the problem by creating new terror groups that want to attack the United States. In this world that is full of hate, we need to take greater precautions to preventing actions on own soil. It is infinitely more difficult to protect our own country when all of our focus is over seas. Immigration- we should implement a legal and orderly method for foreigners to become immigrants of the untied states. shutting down borders will not stop illegal immigrants entering this country.
